Nollywood mourns Henrietta Kosoko

It is a sad day for the Nollywood movie industry as it lost one of its ace actresses, Henrietta Kosoko to the cold hands of death today, June 6.
The actress and wife of veteran actor, Jide Kosoko reportedly gave up the ghost at a hospital in Bariga after recently celebrating her 52nd birthday following a battle with diabetes.

Tributes and reactions have started trailing her shocking demise as a host of her colleagues in the movie industry, such as Muyiwa Ademola, Toyin Aimakhu, Opeyemi Aiyeola and Odunlade Adekola have reacted to the loss.
‘This is so so sad ! Sleep on Henrietta Kosoko,’ ace actor and director, Muyiwa shared, while Opeyemi wrote, ‘Really short of words. Still in shock to hear this sad news.Aunty Rita ure 1 of the few I truly respect, adore n yab with.’
Toyin recalled Henrietta’s positive impact on her acting career by volunteering to follow her to Ibadan to convince her parents to allow her continue with her choice of career.

Alot of pple didn’t knw how close we were,u stood by me during my trying period I remember u said toyin u r a ripe fruit and pple throw stones sticks at ripe fruits,u said I shud be strong I remember u brought food wen my pa said I wasn’t eating,i remember wen I told u I was scared my family can ask me to quit acting u said u will follow me to ibadan to speak to my parent i knw u r with God now..I wish tears can bring u back I wud hv cried for years,you stood by me,rest in peace maamia…u were one of the few pple who stood by me…I love u n I promise I will always be stron,rest in peace..u r too too nice.. I have never felt so much pain like this.I wish I wish
