Louis van Gaal has been sacked as Manchester united manager just after two days of winning the FA Cup against Crystal palace.
This was due to Manchester United’s poor form this campaign while Jose Mourinho is on board to take over from him.
LVG and some of his coaching staff including United assistant coach Albert Stuivenberg, Max Reckers performance analyst and goalkeeper coach Frans Hoek have left the club with immediate effect.
Ed Woodward, the United executive vice-chairman arrived at the Carrington training complex this Monday morning, while Van Gaal arrived at about 8.45am with his entire coaching staff where they were informed about their fate.
Mourinho is expected to continue talks with Manchester United on Tuesday to finalise a three-years contract with the club with his long-term assistant Rui Faria and goalkeeping coach Silvino Louro expected to accompany him.
Ryan Giggs future hasn’t been decided yet even though Mourinho said he would love it if he could stay.
