Any keen follower of D’banj would agree that one thing about the self-styled Kokomaster aside music is the several women who have been linked to him.
For Bangalee, it appears that he is pretty good at attracting beautiful and famous women at different points in his career so far.

Let’s look at D’banj and the many kokolets he has been seriously linked with in the past.
One of the most recent is South African media personality and super model, Bonang Matheba who was first spotted with the DB Records boss shortly after she made it known via social media in early 2015 that she’s found love again and was on her way to spending quality time in Nigeria.
Not unexpectedly, the buzz began to build around the two. When they were spotted arm-in-arm and in different shapes on a private beach in Mauritius on Wednesday June 3, 2015, people took more than a mere interest. Then came their biggest moment so far as they shared a kiss on live TV during the MTV MAMA Awards held in South Africa.

Bonang Matheba might have come out few days later to say D’banj is not her man but your guess about whether she will be counted among his women – either past or present – is as good as ours.
Who can forget the circus of media reports regarding D’banj’s and Nigerian star actress, Genevieve Nnaji? It all began when in May 2010 the ‘Oliver Twist’ singer featured the Ije actress in the video of his popular song, ‘Fall in Love’.
Reports over whether they got involved then or later have not ceased even six years after.
According to sources, the relationship turned out as a brief affair but many still can’t stop linking Genny to D’banj.

In fact, those close to the Kokomaster claim they made up at some point in 2013, adding that nothing can be ruled out between the two successful yet unmarried entertainers.
Another woman that cannot escape being mentioned here is Jennifer Obayuwana whose relationship with D’Banj was so strong sometime ago that many thought they would inevitably end up at the altar.

However, the highly publicised romance crashed after a while and Jenny moved on by getting engaged to a man named Peter Salah in 2014. It is imperative to add that in one of her interviews after the crashed relationship, Jennifer cited D’banj’s womanising for her decision to break up with him.
The name, Yaris Sanchez might not ring a bell to many Nigerians but the Dominican model was flown down to Nigeria in a private jet in 2012.
With D’banj’s growing international recognition after signing with G.O.O.D Music at the time, Yaris even posted photos from her visits to Nigeria on social media while acknowledging her alliance with the Nigerian music star when some fans tweeted at her.
Rita Ora might be big on the international scene but she is one of the women who have been linked to the ‘Feeling the Ni**a’ singer before. The relationship between D’banj and the Roc Nation act was touted as strictly professional until the two were reportedly spotted snuggling back stage at the BB1Xtra Hackney weekend show in June 2012. It might not have been an affair really but she has been seen close enough to flirt with D’banj.
News regarding D’banj’s relationship with Adama Indimi, daughter of billionaire businessman, Mohammed Indimi first broke in 2012. They soon acknowledged each other on social media and were later spotted together several times as Adama became a major part of D’banj’s life.
Even when the DB Records boss was always spotted with Bonang Matheba since the beginning of that year, he never missed an opportunity to shower love on Adama and her close relatives.
In March 2015, he sent a special shout out to Adama’s mum for the elderly woman’s birthday and a month later, he didn’t forget to send a birthday shout out to Adama’s kid sister.

Recently, on August 12, 2015 which happened to be Adama’s birthday, D’banj again sent out a lovely message to her. Using romantic phrases like ‘I Love You very much’, ‘My Best Friend’, ‘ Queen of My heart,’ he was unequivocal in his show of affection for the dashing young woman.
Not one limited by geography and other limitations, Tanzanian supermodel, Millen Mangese also had what many have called a working relationship with D’Banj. However, sources say the time D’banj spent with the pretty model had little to do with music when he visited Tanzania around December 2013.
Before D’Banj signed Tonto Dikeh to DB Records last year, there were unconfirmed rumours in 2013 that they were in a relationship.
With discussions said to be around signing Tonto Dikeh to D’banj’s DB Records at the time, the rumours only grew stronger when the duo, after being spotted lounging at the Colourful World of More Concert, also reportedly left the venue together.

The controversial actress and now mother of one insisted then she has had nothing romantic with D’banj before and since she’s now engaged to Oladunni Churchill, everyone has to give her the benefit of the doubt and move on.
Real Housewives of Atlanta star, Kenya Moore‘s supposed relationship with D’banj was first reported by UK’s Daily Mail which referred to D’banj as a ‘legendary womaniser’. The news outlet claimed Kenya wanted to hire D’banj to act as her boyfriend after boasting about having an African Prince on RHOA to Nene Leakes shortly before then.
Prior to this, D’banj got the former Miss USA to host his DKM concert in Nigeria in 2013. Although it wasn’t clear if she had anything to do with D’banj romantically, it is clear they are clearly acquainted. Kenya went on to visit Nigeria several times and was D’banj’s special guest at the Nigerians in Diaspora event at the Hilton Hotels in Houston where she watched him perform in 2013.
Kenya is however not the last of the women to have been thought to have been in D’banj’s life.
He might not have had a relationship with Natasha Georgette, the baby mama of American rapper, Flo Rida but she was flown to one of his recent video shoots.
D’banj caused quite a stir when he shared the photo of himself and Natasha on set, captioning it: ‘She’s #FeelingTheNigga and the Nigga is Feeling The Hmmm lol.’
Looking at the women on the list, which might not be the exhaustive list of women linked to D’banj even, it’s difficult to argue his Kokomaster moniker is not fitting enough.
