Holy Bar?! Check out the unsettling thing i discovered at a beer parlour in Nigeria

I had quite the experience last night at a drinking spot..the first of its kind, ever!
So, here i was relaxing at a bar at the end of a lovely sunday evening with my friends, no doubt the unwinding was necessary after the hustle and bustle of the week.
As usual with most sit-outs on Sundays, they go for the Life Band-High Life scenario…so after some songs to entertain the teeming population present, the High Life musicians switched to some serious Gospel songs all of a sudden. At first, i was startled because it seemed like a mistake but to my utmost surprise, it lasted for a long time with most people joining in the ‘praise and worship’ session; raising hands and singing in a meditative manner.
I was perplexed to say the least, how can God be mocked in such a way?! Note that it was my first time at this place and it was unbelievably shocking.
Funny enough, i was among the few who felt disgusted at this and had to quickly excuse myself as most others happily enjoyed the switch,  obliging and encouraging the musicians.
On relating with a few folks afterwards, opinions were divided but mostly felt it wasn’t a bad idea afterall as they say ‘God is everywhere’ and so we should worship him but my point is: isn’t there a time and place for everything? I’m not trying to judge, i just need answers!
So my dear people, what’s your take on this? Is it alright to play gospel songs in a drinking bar? Do you feel it’s a system that other beer parlours should adopt too?
And if you want to know/visit this mystery bar, just indicate in the comment section as i got to find out that its a regular scenario on Sundays.
