Visibly angry Pastor E. A. Adeboye declares war against herdsmen

General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has declared a ‘holy war’, against kidnappers and rampaging herdsmen. He said this was in view of the growing violent crimes across the country, while he spoke to his congregation.
The large crowd which had Vice President Yemi Osinbajo in attendance were led to pray against the incessant blood shed and kidnapping across the country before Pastor Adeboye shared his sermon.

“Our weapons of war are not carnal, but they are mighty for the pulling down of strongholds”, he said. And the congregation responded: “No more kidnapping; no more shedding of innocent blood all over the nation.”

The prayer point for the country was:

“Father, anyone planning to shed innocent blood, send down your fire to consume them all; Father, anyone who has kidnapped or is planning to kidnap as we are praying, set fire wherever he/she may be now. Enough is enough; Father, beginning from now, let things begin to get better in Nigeria!”

The General Overseer in his message listed the essential tools to attain God’s grace which included winning more souls for his kingdom. He also endeared workers to intensify their efforts and asked the parish pastors to improve their attendance or risk losing their jobs.
